The unique ridged construction effectively stores dirt and moisture beneath shoe level, and the exclusive rubber-reinforced face nubs prevent pile from crushing in high-traffic areas, maintaining high performance and extending the product's life.

These mats are not adversely affected by salt or ice melt, and they are certified slip-resistant by the National Floor Safety Institute. The mats have a 1/4" nub height, and the backing is made of 100 percent SBR rubber with 20 percent recycled content. The overall thickness is 0.190" for the nubs, 0.050" between the nubs, and 0.110" for the border. The mats pass the Flammability Standard DOC-FF-1-70 and the ASTM C 1028-29 Static Coefficient of Friction test, with a dry rating of 0.70. They also have an anti-static rating averaging 1.2 KV with a maximum average voltage of 1.63 KV, meeting IBM's minimum standard for electrical resistance.
